Every October
-The Red Bird Missionary Conference is one of three missionary United Methodist conferences in the United States
-Located in extreme poverty area in Beverly, Kentucky
-2 tractor trailers will transport needed items from central New York
-Shoe boxes should contain personal care items, small gifts and other necessary items. List of suggested items will be in each shoebox.
-Shoe boxes and instructions will be in the narthex the first Sunday in October.
-In addition to the shoeboxes there is a need for bedding, school supplies, backpacks and cleaning supplies. Donations toward travel expenses are also welcome.
-The deadline to return boxes is November 9. Please contact Sherry Kozlowski or Sylvia Watt for further information.
